Wilmslow town centre announces 4th annual motor show
Pioneered by the owner of Mail Boxes Etc. Wilmslow back in 2012, the fourth annual Wilmslow Motor Show will take place in the centre of this buzzing market town on 24 September, when the streets will be transformed into a wonderland of luxury cars and superbikes.
The Wilmslow Motor Show is like no other – a one-day pop-up motor show with displays of prestige vehicles, supercars and superbikes as well as boats from some of the finest names.
Once again, Sporting Bears Motor Club will enable visitors to experience the drive of their lives in an Aston Martin, Ferrari or Bentley in return for a small donation to the Children’s Adventure Farm Trust.
The event is organised by the Wilmslow Business Group and supported by Wilmslow Town Council, and is expected to bring more than 30,000 visitors to the town centre, providing a huge boost to the local economy.
The show was the brainchild of local businessman Steve Kennedy, who owns the Mail Boxes Etc. store in Wilmslow. Talking about this year’s event, he said: “We get a real buzz from the day, which is a win-win for all involved – the retailers, restaurants and bars see an increase in business; the dealers get to showcase their vehicles and the town gets a great day out.”
The event is free to attend and takes place from 10am to 4pm in Wilmslow Town Centre.
